Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in France seeks a Field Service Technician II to join the Pumps and Motors Services group. You will be mentored in RCP mechanics, travel to nuclear plants, and report to the Field Services Operations manager. This role is remote with extensive site deployments across projects.

You should have BAC+2 in mechanics/electromechanics and at least 2 years in a similar role; English is a plus for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (BAC+2) or equivalent in Mechanics or Electromechanics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong inclination toward precise and rigorous mechanical execution.
• Willingness to travel ~80% of the year to install components at plants.
• English proficiency is a plus for international projects.
• Nuclear field experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a team, be autonomous, dynamic and flexible.
• Capable of managing documentation and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow a mentoring plan and training to develop RCP mechanics expertise.
• Report on-site activities to the intervention manager.
• Ensure rigorous execution by following procedures during RCP maintenance.
• Assess tasks critically to master required operations.
• Master mechanical assembly/disassembly of RCP components.
• Understand safety concepts and IIA and technical controls.
• Ensure safety of installations and report deviations in real time.
