Alignerr is seeking an Environmental Science Expert (AI Training) to design, solve and review advanced environmental science problems for training AI models. This fully remote hourly contract role welcomes Masters and PhDs in Environmental Science or related fields and values deep domain expertise with scientific rigor.

You will collaborate with AI researchers to craft high-quality problem statements, evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, and deliver independently on a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Environmental Science or closely related field.
• Strong expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or earth systems science.
• Proficient coding in Python or R for research or quantitative analysis.
• Excellent written communication; able to convey complex science clearly.

Responsabilités

• Design, solve, and review advanced environmental science problems with real‑world relevance and depth.
• Apply climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related disciplines to craft meaningful problem statements.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to enhance AI model reasoning and accuracy.
• Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for correctness, clarity, and rigor.
• Ensure deliverables meet high standards of scientific integrity and communicative precision.
• Work independently on task-based assignments on your own schedule.
