Alignerr is seeking a Mathematics Expert to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. You will design challenging mathematical problems, assess reasoning, and ensure rigor across complex tasks in a fully remote, hourly contract role.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, are deeply skilled in algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete math, and are proficient in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica. Strong communicator, fluent in English, with flexible, schedule-driven work.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
Deeply skilled in at least one of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics.
Experienced with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or computational work.
Strong written communicator with attention to detail and clarity in explanations.

Responsabilités

Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and appropriate complexity.
Apply your expertise to design rigorous problem statements in algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics.
Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning and identify errors, gaps, or logical weaknesses.
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance.
Ensure mathematical clarity, precision, and depth across all deliverables.
Work independently on task-based assignments with flexible scheduling.
