Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Mathematics Expert for a remote contract role to review, evaluate, and generate solutions for advanced mathematical problems. You will develop detailed explanations, proofs, or technical analyses of mathematical concepts and assess AI outputs for rigor and accuracy.

The role also involves creating and annotating domain-specific datasets for model training and benchmarking and documenting methodologies while communicating complex ideas clearly.

Qualifications

• Have strong relevant experience in mathematics or applied mathematics.
• Demonstrated experience authoring research papers, mathematical proofs, or technical reports.
• Proficiency in translating complex mathematical concepts for varied audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on clarity.
• Experience reviewing or critiquing mathematical reasoning or computational solutions.
