ixolabs.ai is seeking an Undergraduate Mathematics Expert to help train AI in calculus, linear algebra and discrete mathematics, delivering clear, structured explanations and step-by-step solutions.

The role focuses on creating educational content, tutoring-style guidance, and evaluating AI-generated solutions, with 10-20 hours per week, starting immediately, in a remote capacity within France.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong academic record in undergraduate mathematics courses (e.g., Calculus I-III, Linear Algebra, Discrete Math).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Tutoring or teaching undergraduate mathematics is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed, step-by-step solutions for single- and multi-variable calculus problems.
• Create clear explanations and examples for linear algebra concepts (vectors, matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations).
• Formulate and solve problems in discrete mathematics (set theory, logic, combinatorics, graph theory).
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for computational errors, logical inconsistencies, and presentation issues.
• Design Q&A pairs to clarify common misconceptions in introductory mathematics.
• Evaluate and categorize mathematical content to align with undergraduate curricula.
