United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a mid-level Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot) for a fully remote role based in France. You will build reliable backend systems, REST APIs, and database solutions using Java and Spring Boot, collaborating across frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.

You will own features from implementation through testing and release, with a focus on clean code, technical ownership, and continuous learning in a distributed team operating through February 2027.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of modern Java development; Java 21 preferred.
• Hands-on experience building backend applications with Spring Boot.
• Practical experience with Hibernate/JPA and ORM-based persistence.

Responsabilités

• Develop clean, maintainable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
• Develop and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and persistence layers with Hibernate/JPA.
