Job summary

MEDHOST is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. The role is remote in the U.S., handling 40-50 accounts daily, researching payor denials, and communicating with third-party payors to obtain necessary information for resolution.

You will gather demographic and clinical information, update systems, follow HIPAA requirements, and participate in process improvements while training new hires and supporting

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in a related medical field preferred.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and insurance follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on insurance payments and rebill as needed.
• Analyze denials and payor issues with internal teams.
• Gather demographic/clinical information to support claim payment.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect PHI while handling accounts.
• Train and assist new hires; support leadership on projects.
