Digital Maelstrom is seeking a software engineer for a fully remote role within its custom software development team. You will collaborate with engineers, principal consultants, and client stakeholders to design, implement, and test web and mobile solutions.

You will analyze complex problems, prepare design and behavioral specs, write unit and integration tests, and contribute to system architecture improvements while participating in agile practices and knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript/TypeScript).
• Experience with Java and/or C#.
• Understanding of web protocols and browser behaviors.
• Experience with front-end and server-side programming in various languages.
• Solid understanding of best practices in web software.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop custom web & mobile software for client needs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems and provide technical solutions.
• Research, present analysis, and advise on architecture improvements.
• Break down requirements into actionable tasks and estimate work.
• Write design, functional and behavioral specifications.
• Configure data sources to support functional solutions.
• Write program documentation and user guidelines; train users.
