Digital Maelstrom is hiring a software engineer for remote work. You will design and develop custom web and mobile software, collaborating with engineers, consultants, and client stakeholders.

You will analyze problems, implement solutions, and contribute to architecture discussions while writing tests and documenting design choices. Experience across frontend and backend stacks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Java, C#, Python, Ruby or Swift.
• Understanding of web protocols and browser behaviors.
• Experience with both frontend and backend development.
• Commitment to best practices and secure coding.

Responsabilités

• Work with a cross-functional team to design and develop custom web & mobile software for client needs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems and provide technical solutions.
• Develop and document design, functional, and behavioral specifications.
• Break down complex requirements into actionable tasks and estimations.
• Write unit tests and integration tests as part of development practice.
• Participate in agile team practices and contribute to team improvements.
