Job summary

Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager - Paid Search to own paid search across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, and to scale additional channels. This remote-first role reports to the Head of Performance Marketing and collaborates with internal teams and external partners to drive growth and performance from click to purchase.

You will manage budgets across markets, build testing roadmaps, and responsibly use AI tools to improve ROI while keeping health claims accurate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid search experience in an international setting.
• Deep expertise in Google Ads, and strong working experience with Microsoft Advertising.
• A data-driven approach grounded in measurement, testing, and commercial judgment.
• Track record of improving conversion rates, acquisition efficiency, and ROI across multiple markets.
• Experience with media planning and performance forecasting.
• Experience launching and evaluating paid channels beyond search.
• Ability to set direction and influence colleagues while staying close to campaign execution.
• Practical experience using AI and automation, with the judgment to verify outputs.

Responsibilities

• Set the paid search strategy across the US, UK, Germany and further growth markets.
• Lead campaign strategy and execution across Search, Shopping and Performance Max, working with internal teams and partners.
• Manage budgets, pacing, bidding and investment across platforms and markets.
• Measure performance against acquisition cost, conversion, revenue, and ROI using data and platform reporting.
• Build a testing roadmap across keywords, audiences, creative, product feeds and landing pages.
• Partner with marketing, product, creative and analytics teams to strengthen tracking and improve the customer journey.
• Use AI tools and platform automation to accelerate research and execution, while verifying outputs.
• Drive the testing and development of additional paid channels, such as native advertising and scale successful approaches.
• Present results, risks and opportunities clearly, with a point of view on what Hilo should do next.
