Job summary

Jobgether seeks a remote Family Law Paralegal based in France to support a U.S. law firm handling divorce, custody, and related matters. The role involves drafting pleadings, managing case files, coordinating hearings, and communicating with clients and opposing counsel from a home office.

Qualifications

Five years of professional paralegal, lawyer, or attorney experience.
At least two years as a family law paralegal for a U.S. law firm.
Experience drafting family law pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal correspondence.
Experience reviewing and organizing financial records, disclosures, asset schedules, and liability documents.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and paternity matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, petitions, notices, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and legal letters.
Prepare financial affidavits, disclosures, asset schedules, and supporting documents.
Collect, organize, review, and prepare documents for discovery and production.
Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials; track court deadlines.
