Lever, Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager for Ceph & Distributed Storage, focused on software-defined storage. You will lead a globally distributed team, balancing hands-on technical leadership with people management, while shaping architecture, practices, and product delivery.

The role is primarily remote with up to 20% international travel, offering substantial scope across enterprise and edge deployments and collaboration with stakeholders across time zones.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering background with Python and/or C++
• Hands-on experience operating scale-out storage clusters on Linux in production
• Knowledge of Linux storage subsystems, filesystems, distributed storage, and network storage

Responsabilités

• Lead a globally distributed engineering team delivering Ceph-focused SD storage.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers for timely, high-quality delivery.
• Develop and guide software architecture, testing, and documentation standards.
