Scaleway is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer to join our Object Storage team. You will design, deploy, and operate features for our homegrown storage platform, contributing to scalability and reliability across regions.

You will collaborate with Beekeeper and Storage SRE, work in a cross-functional, international environment, and help ramp up new regions while maintaining operational excellence. Hybrid work with up to 3 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating large-scale Linux infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of high-load distributed infrastructure and storage tech.
• Experience with Linux admin, networking, and automation.
• Hands-on with Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, and scripting.
• Knowledge of monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy and operate features for Scaleway’s in-house Object Storage platform.
• Contribute to the opening of new Availability Zones and Regions.
• Improve the performance, scalability and reliability of a storage infrastructure.
• Ensure operational excellence of the platform through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Participate in the Level 2 on-call rotation and troubleshoot complex production incidents.
• Collaborate with Data Center teams on hardware-related operations.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Contribute to technical documentation and onboarding materials.
