Crossing Hurdles is seeking an Electrical Systems & Field Operations Specialist on a contract basis. Remote, 10-40 hours per week.

You will analyze electrical schematics, validate layouts, and document solutions for AI system training, collaborating asynchronously with engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate has strong experience in electrical systems, control systems, automation, instrumentation, or field operations, and can translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences

Qualifications

Experience in electrical systems, control systems, automation, instrumentation, or field operations.
Experience interpreting and producing technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and operation documentation.
Backgrounds such as Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Electrician, or Maintenance Supervisor.
Excellent written and verbal communication, able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Strong attention to detail with visually dense technical documents.
Comfort collaborating remotely in a digital-first, asynchronous project setting.

Responsabilités

Analyze and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for AI system training.
Review and validate equipment layouts and inspection reports.
Evaluate electrical troubleshooting scenarios and document solutions.
Assess technical manuals and field operation guides for non-expert audiences.
Provide feedback on documentation quality related to field operations and electrical systems design.
Collaborate asynchronously to share technical insights and practical scenarios.
