Belcan Corporation in a remote setup is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a 6-month contract to work on aerospace wiring and electrical system integration. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–7 years of relevant experience are required.

The role involves developing 3D models and 2D drawings, wiring diagrams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Travel is limited to 25% or less, and candidates must be US citizens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Experience with electrical harness design and routing in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ability to select cables/wires, circuit protection (fuses, breakers, etc) and EMI design.
• Interpret provided engineering requirements and determine solution paths.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams, communicate technical information effectively with both internal team and external customers.
• Manage time efficiently, work independently, and produce accurate designs.
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask efficiently, and flexible to evolving customer priorities.
• Experience with aerospace, automotive, or industrial preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for equipment or wiring installations, including harness routing and mounting solutions within the assigned sector.
• Development of 3D models and 2D drawings of pre- and post-production detail parts, assemblies, installations, sub-systems, and integrations for electrical assemblies.
• Support customer in electrical hardware integration and internal wiring from design to production phases.
• Development of wiring diagrams and schematics for aircraft electrical systems.
• Travel 25% or less.
