Harmattan AI is seeking a Field Deployment Engineer to deploy and sustain ground systems across sites and contracts. The role combines hands-on hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting with documentation and training materials to scale deployments beyond a single site.

You will work with engineering teams, enable local deployment efforts, and travel frequently to client sites in austere environments. A dual hardware-software skill set and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on field or technical experience with complex hardware/software systems.
• Proficient in both hardware deployment and software configuration.
• Able to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Good networking fundamentals and diagnostics.
• Able to train and enable local deployment teams.
• Willing to travel frequently and spend extended on-site campaigns.
• English proficiency required; other regional languages a plus.

Responsabilités

• Site assessment before installation and identify prerequisites.
• Install and configure hardware on site.
• Install and configure software, Linux-based contexts.
• Commission system end-to-end.
• Contribute to deployment methodology and playbooks.
• Enable local teams with training materials.
• Interface with engineering on requirements and updates.
• Diagnose and resolve field hardware, software, and network issues.
