Blue Pearl HQ is seeking an Intermediate Data Engineer with strong Power BI expertise to support its People & Analytics team in a remote setup. You will design and maintain Databricks-based data pipelines, transform data for HR reporting, and build interactive Power BI dashboards to deliver actionable workforce insights.

The role requires 3–5 years in data engineering, solid SQL and cloud data platform experience, and strong stakeholder collaboration in a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience as a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role.
• Strong experience with Databricks.
• Advanced SQL development skills.
• Proven experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing principles.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, globally distributed team.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL/ELT) data from multiple enterprise data sources.
• Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for HR and People Analytics.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting environments.
• Optimise existing data models and reporting solutions for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Document data processes, models, and technical solutions.
• Support continuous improvements to the organisation's analytics and reporting capabilities.
