Shift Technology, a Paris-based AI-driven insurer tech company, is seeking a mid-level Data Engineer/Software Engineer focused on data projects. You will design scalable data models, build ETL pipelines, and collaborate with data scientists and product teams to deliver data-driven insights.

You should have 2+ years of experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and familiarity with visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering focused on data-related projects.
• Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, GoodData, Tableau).
• Knowledge of OO design concepts; C# is a plus.
• Strong data exploration skills using Python libraries.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain scalable data models and data access layer frameworks for centralized databases and downstream apps.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data sources using .NET, dbt, Spark, and analytics tools.
• Contribute to Agile processes with sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product team to translate roadmaps into technical designs and deliverables.
• Work with Data Scientists to enhance frameworks for data integration and analytics.
• Participate in code reviews, deployment, and monitoring for reliable production releases.
