Job summary

IXO Inc. is seeking a Chartered Accountant-qualified remote consultant to author and assess accounting scenarios under IFRS and local GAAP. The role focuses on creating cases, drafting reference explanations, and grading answers for compliance.

Candidates should explain reasoning clearly in written English and be available for at least 10 hours weekly. Fully remote and asynchronous engagement with flexible scheduling; prior Big Four or IFRS conversion experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• IFRS knowledge and local GAAP experience are required.
• Proven ability to explain accounting decisions clearly in written English.
• Available for at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Create cases covering routine accounting treatments and difficult reporting judgments.
• Write reference answers that explain the relevant standards and the basis for each treatment.
• Grade generated answers under IFRS and applicable local GAAP.
• Identify apparently plausible treatments that breach accounting requirements.
