IXO is seeking a Cantonese-English transcription specialist to turn Cantonese and English recordings into reliable written language data. You will listen, transcribe or correct, annotate and perform a final quality review of outputs.

Deliverables include corrected transcripts, labels and metadata. You will handle timestamps, flag ambiguities, and follow the approved conventions and schedules while keeping material confidential.

Qualifications

• Native-level Cantonese with professional transcription or annotation experience.
• Bilingual Cantonese and English exposure is particularly relevant.
• Familiarity with transcription tools is valuable.

Responsabilités

• Capture spoken content accurately under the assigned transcription convention.
• Compare drafts against the recording and repair missing or inconsistent text.
• Review punctuation, formatting and language choices without changing the intended meaning.
• Produce timestamped output and handle regional accents, using both Traditional and Simplified Chinese when needed.
• Flag unclear audio and unresolved ambiguities with clear explanations.
• Apply updated guidance and report recurring tool or workflow problems.
