Alignerr is seeking back end developers in Paris for designing, building, and optimizing server-side systems and APIs that power AI products. This is a fully remote hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling and project-based work.

You'll design robust backend services, implement scalable architectures, and integrate with databases, queues, and cloud services. The role emphasizes async collaboration across global teams and delivery of reliable, well-documented code.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more backend languages and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Ability to work asynchronously across teams and time zones.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain back end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable server-side architecture for AI training and inference workloads.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code following best practices.
• Integrate with databases, queues, cloud services, and third‑party APIs.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows.
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams of engineers and researchers.
• Triage production issues, review code, and influence architecture decisions.
• Work independently on task-based and project-based assignments.
