Job summary

CNTXT AI seeks a fully remote, hourly contractor to support AI data and language projects. You will apply senior-level French localization and translation judgment with minimum C1 English proficiency to ensure terminology, tone, and cultural nuance across use cases.

The role includes data annotation, LLM evaluation, content generation, and localization QA. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field and demonstrate impeccable writing and editing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications, or related field.
• Native or near-native French (France-native) with strong writing/editing skills.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (reading/writing).
• Excellent editorial judgment on register, tone, punctuation, inclusivity, cultural nuance, and extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to identify meaning drift, ambiguity, locale inconsistencies, and explain corrections clearly in writing.
• Ability to fact-check localized content (units, references, names, dates) with reliable sources.

Responsibilities

• Data annotation: labeling, classifying, and structuring documents, tables, and other content for AI training datasets.
• LLM evaluation: reviewing AI-generated responses for accuracy, reasoning quality, coherence, and cultural/linguistic appropriateness.
• Content generation: writing prompts/responses or recording voice samples to guide AI learning.
• Localization QA: ensuring terminology, tone, locale details are accurate across outputs.
