Job summary

Jobgether is partnered with a mobile game studio seeking a 3D Animator based in France. The role is fully remote and focuses on creating expressive animations for characters, objects, and environments in mobile games.

You will work with artists and designers to ensure readability of gameplay actions while maintaining artistic direction. The ideal candidate brings strong animation fundamentals, experience with Maya/Blender/3ds Max, and a solid understanding of mobile optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of animation timing, squash and stretch, anticipation, and overlapping action.
• Experience with 3D animation software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max) or equivalent.
• Understanding of mobile game constraints and animation optimization.

Responsibilities

• Create animations for characters, objects, and environments in mobile games.
• Prepare and configure animation clips (idle, walk, run, attack, emotes).
• Work with rigs and basic skinning adjustments.
• Export animations in FBX format for mobile pipelines.
• Optimize animations to meet mobile performance targets.
