Job summary

Socomec Lyon agency is strengthening its commercial team to drive growth in the secure power solutions market. You will lead commercial development in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, supporting a field and office-based team working with electrical installers, design offices and end users.

Under the Regional Sales Manager, you will manage opportunities from identification to completion, build a partner ecosystem and ensure profitability while coaching a three-person team.

Qualifications

• Two- to three-year higher education qualification in a technical or technical sales discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in a project-based sales or technically competitive environment.
• Proven experience managing long, project-based sales cycles.
• Commercial experience working with electrical installers.

Responsibilities

• Develop revenue and strengthen the presence of our solutions across the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
• Identify key stakeholders, decision-maker networks and channels to promote our offers to electrical installers, design offices and end users.
• Manage a portfolio of opportunities, covering project identification, quotations, follow-up, negotiation and case management through to completion.
• Lead and develop a partner ecosystem to improve offer conversion rates and accelerate business growth.
• Ensure that commercial policy is applied while meeting price, margin and profitability objectives.
• Support the development of a three-person team by monitoring performance and building individual capabilities.
