Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor Degree, or equivalent.
• English spoken and written.
• ≥5 years of automation experience in packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of aseptic technology (C5, C3, X4…).
• Knowledge of blowing products is a plus.
• Electrical fundamentals and safety equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot automation on aseptic blower platforms.
• Manage non-conformity and warranty costs.
• Support field service engineers during projects.
• Apply RCA to automation issues and drive corrective actions.
• Provide daily email/phone/ticket support to customers.
• Contribute to reliability improvements and retrofit applications.

Regional Product Support Automation Expert - Aseptic Blower (M/F/D)

Your opportunity

RPS (Regional Product Support) ECA (Europe and Central Asia) is a part of the SERVICE organization in SIDEL, it’s a great opportunity to work closely either to the product and to the customers.The main activities are related to support the service but also the new equipment.This opportunity is related to aseptic blower machines of SIDEL old and new portfolio.The correct profile requires automation knowledge on all aseptic blower platforms, where Sidel is best-in-class in terms of capabilities and expertise.

Your Mission

Aseptic Product Support ECAAutomation Engineer is part of Product Support ECA organization.The job takes place mainly in theoffice but also with few missions onsite.In both situations you mustsecure the operational follow up & technical support (on automation side)of all aseptic products related to the blowing platform, included associatedtrade equipment (chiller, inspection system, preform dumper...)throughthe whole life of the machine. You also have to secure that the colleagues(FSE, ISM, PMes, CCM, AFC) in contact with the customer are well supportedthrough email, tickets, telephone and onsite missions.

Main responsabilities include :

• Execute troubleshooting on all aseptic Blower and associated trade equipment,concerning automation platform
• Secure Non Conformity and warranty cost management
• Support FSE during projects and service site execution on automation side
• Apply RCA methodology on automation issues, driving data collection andpreventive/corrective action
• Provide daily telephone & email and tickets support for automation issuesto our customers
• Consolidate the reliability of our solutions by participating tocorrective action internally (engineering, workshop, O&U)
• Secure retrofit application on the blower concerning automation platform

Finally, you is also in charge to secure the preparation and the distribution ofthe appropriate documentation concerning the troubleshooting of automationissues on blower aseptic equipment.

Your Profile

Master or Bachelor Degree, or equivalent

English spoken and written

At least 5 years of technical assistance, field experience or engineering inpackaging equipments (automation side)

Knowledge of sensitive/aseptic technology (C5, C3, X4 …)

Knowledge of Blowing product and is a plus

Electrical fundaments (safety equipments, sensors, motion, servo drivers,inverters…)

Knowledge of PLC platform (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, B&R, RockwellAutomation)

Knowledge of HMI (ZenOn, Citec, Movicon) and Motion platforms (Danfoss,B&R)
