Sidel is seeking an Automation Engineer for Aseptic Blower systems in the ECA region. The role focuses on automation support across the life cycle of blowing platforms and related equipment, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, warranty cost control, and customer communication via email, tickets, and onsite visits.

You will engage with FSE, ISM, PMes, CCM, and AFC teams to ensure robust automation support and documentation, both remotely and on customer sites.

Qualificações

• Master or Bachelor degree (or equivalent)
• English spoken and written
• At least 5 years of technical assistance, field experience or engineering in packaging equipment automation
• Knowledge of sensitive/aseptic technology (C5, C3, X4…)
• Electrical fundamentals (safety equipment, sensors, motion, servo drivers, inverters)
• Knowledge of PLC platforms (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, B&R, Rockwell)
• Knowledge of HMI (ZenOn, Citec, Movicon) and motion platforms (Danfoss, B&R)

Responsabilidades

• Execute troubleshooting on all aseptic Blower automation
• Secure Non Conformity and warranty cost management
• Support field service engineers during projects and site execution
• Apply RCA methodology on automation issues with data collection and actions
• Provide daily telephone, email and ticket support for automation issues
• Contribute to improving reliability through internal corrective actions
• Secure retrofit applications on blower automation platforms
• Prepare and distribute relevant documentation for automation troubleshooting

RPS (Regional Product Support) ECA (Europe and Central Asia) is a part of the SERVICE organization in SIDEL, it’s a great opportunity to work closely either to the product and to the customers. The main activities are related to support the service but also the new equipment. This opportunity is related to aseptic blower machines of SIDEL old and new portfolio. The correct profile requires automation knowledge on all aseptic blower platforms, where Sidel is best-in-class in terms of capabilities and expertise.

Your Mission

Aseptic Product Support ECA Automation Engineer is part of Product Support ECA organization. The job takes place mainly in the office but also with few missions onsite. In both situations you must secure the operational follow up & technical support (on automation side) of all aseptic products related to the blowing platform, included associated trade equipment (chiller, inspection system, preform dumper...) through the whole life of the machine. You also have to secure that the colleagues (FSE, ISM, PMes, CCM, AFC) in contact with the customer are well supported through email, tickets, telephone and onsite missions.

Main responsabilities include :

• Execute troubleshooting on all aseptic Blower and associated trade equipment, concerning automation platform
• Secure Non Conformity and warranty cost management
• Support FSE during projects and service site execution on automation side
• Apply RCA methodology on automation issues, driving data collection and preventive/corrective action
• Provide daily telephone & email and tickets support for automation issues to our customers
• Consolidate the reliability of our solutions by participating to corrective action internally (engineering, workshop, O&U)
• Secure retrofit application on the blower concerning automation platform

Finally, you is also in charge to secure the preparation and the distribution of the appropriate documentation concerning the troubleshooting of automation issues on blower aseptic equipment.

Your Profile

• Master or Bachelor Degree, or equivalent
• English spoken and written
• At least 5 years of technical assistance, field experience or engineering in packaging equipments (automation side)
• Knowledge of sensitive/aseptic technology (C5, C3, X4 …)
• Knowledge of Blowing product and is a plus
• Electrical fundaments (safety equipments, sensors, motion, servo drivers, inverters…)
