Harmattan AI is seeking an FPGA Engineer within our Electronic Warfare team to design real-time DSP datapaths in RTL and own the silicon-centric signal chain from concept to lab validation. You will collaborate with RF hardware, embedded software and algorithm teams to deliver high-assurance, low-latency performance for threat detection, classification and waveform generation in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• MSc in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong RTL design background in VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Experience with SoC FPGAs and their toolchains.
• Hands-on experience with JESD204B/C interfaces is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• RTL Design & Implementation: design and implement signal-processing datapaths in VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Real-Time DSP in Fabric: implement detection, direction-finding, classification and waveform generation.
• RF & Data Converter Interfacing: own the digital interface to the RF front-end.
• Hardware/Software Partitioning: define split between programmable logic and on-chip processors.
• Timing Closure & Resource Budgets: drive timing closure and budgets on production hardware.
• Bring-up, Integration & Validation: lead FPGA bring-up and lab validation.
