Alta Ares in Toulouse develops real-time AI for defense applications and autonomous drone systems. The role focuses on embedded software and robotics development for flight controllers, sensor interfacing, and onboard data processing.

You'll work with ArduPilot/ArduPlane, MAVLink, and SITL simulations to validate hardware/software integrations, ensuring robust performance in field environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on embedded software experience for drones/robotics.
• Strong knowledge of embedded Linux and microcontroller-based systems.
• Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
• Familiarity with ArduPilot/ArduPlane and MAVLink.
• Experience with SITL or similar simulation environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop embedded software for drones and robotic systems.
• Work on flight controllers, sensor interfacing, and real-time systems.
• Implement onboard data processing and sensor fusion components.
• Debug, optimize and maintain firmware across hardware platforms.
