PTC Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a scientific background to act as a field-based medical expert. You will engage clinicians, academic centers, and professional bodies with high-level product and disease-state discussions to support safe and effective product use.

You will travel extensively, build long-term relationships, train advisory boards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform management and advance patient access initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline with 7+ years in pharma/biotech.
• At least 3 years as an MSL or equivalent experience.
• Experience with orphan/rare disease products preferred.
• Extensive engagement with KOLs, clinicians, payors, and academia.
• Able to interpret data and present to scientists/HCPs clearly.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical delivery processes.

Responsabilités

• Attend national/regional medical meetings as a representative; gather and summarize info.
• Deliver objective clinical presentations to HCPs, payors, and patient orgs on requests.
• Identify and train speakers for advisory boards and educational programs.
• Organize regional medical initiatives and advisory boards as needed.
• Provide management input on therapies, business opportunities/risks, feedback.
• Maintain relations with health authorities, KOLs, HCPs, payors, and academics.
• Support grant applications and requests for study support per policy.
• Stay updated on medical, regulatory, and quality issues relevant to therapy areas.
• Monitor competitor information and communicate insights to stakeholders.
