The City of Cleveland is seeking a skilled Radio Technician to service and maintain the City’s 800 MHz radio system. You will install, troubleshoot, and document radio equipment, ensuring reliable communications for city operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of full-time paid experience in radio system technology or related field with emphasis on installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining vehicle electronics and related systems.
• Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License required.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision, performs skilled technical work and services for the City of Cleveland's 800 MHz Radio System.
• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains radio equipment including base stations, antennas, cellular devices, and related systems.
• Designs, implements, and documents unique wiring and circuits for custom needs.
• Maintains inventories, prepares reports, and assists with emergencies and drills.
