CBRE seeks a Data Center Technician to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a Data Center environment. You will monitor Mechanical & Engineering systems, respond to Building Management System alarms, and coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with all regulations.

Requires 1–2 years in a technical apprenticeship or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Training in a technical discipline with an apprenticeship or equivalent and 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Able to meet the physical requirements of this role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Clear communication with internal teams and clients.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and shift patterns.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
• Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
• React to Building Management System alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company processes, procedures and all applicable laws.
• Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn’t meet requirements per the Master Service Agreement.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
• Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems.
• Conduct building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU’s and utilities.
• Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.
• Follow established processes and procedures; perform routine quality checks for maintenance records.
• Complete required training to ensure successful completion of all responsibilities.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under close supervision.
