Job summary

Accenture plc in Paris seeks a Managing Director to own and grow the R&D domain within the France & BeLux Life Sciences practice. You will build a France-based team, advise R&D executives, and shape a domain-based transformation leveraging Accenture’s AI, data, and global assets.

You’ll bring deep clinical development expertise, a track record with pharma/biotech and consulting, and a knack for building senior relationships to win flagship engagements across Europe.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in clinical development across the drug lifecycle.
• Experience in pharma/biotech and management consulting.
• Proven track record with C-suite relationships in R&D.
• Fluency in AI, GenAI, data and digital transformation.
• Global perspective with multi-market experience.
• Experience building and leading teams with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advise at the top table with R&D leadership on strategy and transformation.
• Build trusted relationships and convert them into flagship programs.
• Apply deep drug development knowledge to client problems.
• Shape AI-enabled R&D propositions and scale pilots to production.
• Originate and win engagements, owning commercial outcomes.
• Lead delivery across programs and ensure measurable impact.
• Build the France-based team, culture and capabilities.
• Represent Accenture externally through publications and speaking.
