Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a motivated engineering student to join our R&D team. You will support the development and monitoring of dashboards and KPIs across Business Groups, contribute to process improvements, and help drive digital and AI initiatives aligned with our global innovation roadmap.

You will collaborate with Group IT and other Business Groups to harmonize tools, assist in deploying R&D initiatives, and participate in knowledge-sharing activities and events such as the R&D AI Hub.

Qualifications

• Engineering student currently enrolled in an engineering school.
• Fluent in English; working language is English.
• Interest in R&D processes and digital transformation.
• Strong teamwork, international mindset, communication and analytical skills.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

• Support the development and monitoring of R&D dashboards and performance KPIs to ensure consistency and comparability across Business Groups.
• Contribute to R&D process improvement and standardization, identifying opportunities to make workflows leaner and more efficient.
• Participate in Digital and AI projects within the Group R&D Department, helping to align ongoing initiatives with Forvia's global innovation roadmap.
• Collaborate with Business Groups and Group Information Technology (GIT) to support the harmonization and massification of digital and AI tools.
• Assist in the deployment and follow-up of R&D initiatives, ensuring coherent execution across all Business Groups.
• Contribute to R&D network animation, supporting the preparation and organization of events such as the R&D AI Hub and other cross-departmental knowledge-sharing activities.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Student in Engineering school
• Fluent in English: Working language will be English
• R&D processes, digital transformation interest
• Good team-worker
• International mindset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, (network animation)
• Good analytical and synthesis skills

Good level with Microsoft Excel, programming knowledge (Microsoft Office suite, Python, HTML...)
