Job summary

Alice & Bob is transitioning to a product-focused quantum computing company and seeking a Quantum Presales Specialist to bridge technical depth with customer engagement. You will lead technical conversations with HPC centers, explain superconducting cat qubits, and help shape integration and adoption strategies.

This role involves presenting the roadmap to FTQC, preparing content for talks and workshops, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to align research with market needs.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in quantum physics, superconducting circuits, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in customer-facing roles (US and Europe).
• Bonus familiarity with HPC environments, cryogenics, or RF systems.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to build something meaningful in quantum space.
• Fluent in professional English & French, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Convey complex scientific ideas to technical and non-technical audiences in talks, hackathons, workshops, and meetings.

• Interact with customers as a scientific expert.
• Help align internal tech development with real-world constraints and needs.

Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems. About the Role:

Alice & Bob is transitioning from a cutting-edge research lab to a product-focused quantum computing company. As part of this transformation, we’re creating Quantum HPC, a new team bridging technical expertise and customer engagement. We’re looking for a Quantum Presales Specialist to join this team. You will play a key role in technical conversations with HPC centers, our natural early adopters and help shape how our superconducting “cat qubits” are understood, integrated, and used.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical meetings with HPC clients and partners
• Present our core technology: superconducting cat qubits, roadmap to FTQC, integration challenges
• Convey complex scientific ideas and the vision of Alice & Bob to technical and non-technical audience in a clear and accessible manner (in talks, hackathons, workshops, meetings…)
• Prepare high-quality technical content: briefs, diagrams, comparison tools, slides
• Contribute to internal work on machine development in accordance with your expertise: experiments, theory, specifications, cryogenics, RF, hardware/software stack…
• Interact with customers as a scientific expert
• Help align our internal tech development with real-world constraints and needs

Requirements:

• PhD or MSc in quantum physics, superconducting circuits, or similar field, with 3 years of experience
• Comfortable navigating between lab-level details and real-world applications
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with customer-facing role (US and Europe).
• (Bonus) Familiarity with HPC environments, cryogenics, or RF systems
• Curious, proactive, and eager to build something meaningful in the quantum space
• Fluent in professional English & French, both written and spoken.
