Qualifications

• Develop and extend theoretical models of quantum-dot-based single photon sources.
• Investigate quantum dynamics, decoherence and environmental interactions.
• Model open quantum systems and relevant physical noise mechanisms.
• Translate theoretical models into numerical algorithms and simulation workflows.
• Validate predictions against analytical results and experimental data.
• Support ongoing research projects and photon-source investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend scientific simulation code in Python and C++.
• Implement quantum-dynamics models using suitable numerical methods.
• Integrate new physical effects into existing simulation frameworks.
• Maintain, test and improve research code and numerical workflows.
• Make simulation tools reliable, documented and reusable by researchers.
• Validate and interpret simulation results in collaboration with experimental teams.
