Job summary

Quandela is seeking a Quantum Information Scientist to develop numerical models of quantum dot–phonon interactions and to integrate these effects into semiconductor photon-source models. You will work with both theoretical and experimental teams in a highly collaborative R&D environment.

The role emphasizes strong physics foundations, hands-on numerical modelling, and proficiency in Python, with opportunities to move toward C++ for demanding simulations. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Physics or closely related field.
• Strong foundations in semiconductor/quantum physics.
• Hands-on experience with numerical modelling of physical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop numerical models of quantum dot–phonon interactions.
• Calculate phonon spectral densities and integrate into source models.
• Apply FEM/FD methods to semiconductor nanostructures.
• Build simulations using COMSOL or similar platforms.
