Quandela, a leading quantum computing company in Île-de-France, seeks a Quantum Information Scientist focused on Quantum Error Mitigation (QEM). You will join the Quantum Information team within Architecture to design, benchmark, and apply QEM to photonic and spin-photonic architectures while collaborating with Device Physics and FTQC researchers.

You will advance mitigation strategies, assess costs, and explore interactions with error correction to extend circuit depth in realistic systems.

Qualifications

• PhD in Quantum Information or related field.
• Strong ability to analyze and apply mitigation methods.

Responsabilités

• Develop and adapt QEM methods for photonic and spin-photonic architectures.
• Evaluate performance, feasibility and cost of mitigation approaches.
• Study interaction of mitigation with Quantum Error Correction across regimes.
• Use realistic noise models to assess impact on fidelity and circuit depth.
• Build prototypes and numerical tools to compare approaches.
• Collaborate with FTQC and Device Physics researchers on trade-offs.
• Contribute to benchmarking and performance analyses within the team.
• Coordinate with Q.Algorithms and Software teams on applications.
