The CNRS Laboratory National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses (LNCMI) in Toulouse seeks a researcher to advance quantum materials studies using high-field magnet techniques, cryogenics, and advanced measurements.

The role includes developing a dedicated research program on materials such as high-Tc superconductors, supervising PhD students and Master’s interns, and contributing to the international user program for the pulsed field facility. Proficiency in Python and LabVIEW is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (>2 years) in experimental study of quantum materials under intense magnetic fields.
• Proficiency in Python and LabVIEW.
• Teaching ability and collaboration in an international team.

Responsabilités

• Develop a research program on quantum materials using LNCMI Toulouse techniques.
• Supervise PhD students and Master’s interns.
• Conduct experiments under intense magnetic fields, analyze data, and disseminate results.
• Train students in experimental techniques and guide their projects.
• Provide technical and scientific support to international users of the pulsed field facility.
