iO Associates partners with a French aerospace manufacturer in Toulouse to recruit an experienced Quality Systems Engineer. You will shape and maintain the organisation’s QMS across regulated environments, contributing to EN 9100 and PART 145 certification programs.

Responsibilities include creating and updating documentation, implementing core quality processes (FOD prevention, FAI, anomaly management), leading internal audits, and delivering regulatory training in English and French to ensure

Qualifications

• Degree in Quality Management or related engineering field.
• 4+ years' experience in aeronautics or aviation.
• Knowledge of EN 9100 and Part 21J.
• Experience performing internal audits in regulated environments.
• Fluency in English and French.

• Address non-conformities and lead quality incident management from issuance to closure.
• Set up and deliver internal regulatory training programs across areas like FOD, QMS, and PART 21G.
• Conduct internal audits covering PART 21J, PART 21G, CAD, SMS, and Special Processes.
• Support certification projects (EN 9100, PART 145) and contribute to SMS implementation.

Based in Toulouse, this role offers a key opportunity to shape, drive, and maintain the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS) across high-standard regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in creating, developing, and maintaining the documentation system, including manuals, procedures, and training materials.

Implement core quality processes, including FOD prevention, First Article Inspection (FAI), and anomaly management.

Address non-conformities and lead quality incident management from initial issuance through root cause analysis to final closure.

Set up and deliver internal regulatory training programs across areas like FOD, QMS, and PART 21G

Conduct internal audits covering PART 21J, PART 21G, CAD, SMS, and Special Processes.

Support certification projects (EN 9100, PART 145) and contribute to the ongoing implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS).

Requirements

Degree level or higher education in Quality Management or a relevant engineering field.

4+ years of experience, ideally gained within the aeronautical or aviation industry.

Strong knowledge of aerospace regulatory standards (EN 9100, Part 21J) and proficiency with quality tools (8D, PPAP, FMEA).

Proven experience conducting internal audits within regulated design or production environments.

Professional fluency in English and in French.
