Job summary

Back Market in Paris offers a 6‑month Data & Measurement internship for final‑year Masters. You will implement and QA GTM tags, refine dataLayer events, and work with SQL/BigQuery and JavaScript/HTML to ensure privacy‑compliant analytics.

You will partner with Marketing, Product and Data teams to monitor data quality, document plans, and support cross‑functional data questions in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Final year Master student in engineering, business, data or digital marketing.
• Interest in web analytics and tag management (GTM/GA4).
• Understand JavaScript and read/write simple scripts; comfortable with HTML and browser tools.
• Some SQL experience or willingness to work with BigQuery.
• Care about data quality, privacy and consent topics (GDPR, CMPs).
• Clear communication with developers, marketers and analysts; fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain GTM tags, triggers, and variables for analytics and ads.
• Specify and QA dataLayer events with developers; ensure tracking for new features.
• Run tracking audits across markets; investigate data discrepancies and fixes.
• Contribute to data quality checks in BigQuery and monitoring systems.
• Ensure tracking respects user consent choices and privacy regulations.
• Keep tracking plan and docs up to date; answer tracking questions for teams.
