Job summary

Back Market is seeking a data-minded intern to join the Data & Measurement team in Paris. You will help ensure accurate, privacy-conscious tracking across 17 markets and support analytics powering marketing, product, and business decisions.

You should be in the final year of a Master’s degree and fluent in French and English. The internship runs 6 months, full-time (35h/week) in Paris, starting January 2027, with a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, business, data or digital marketing (or equivalent).
• Fluent in French and English (both mandatory).
• Interest in web analytics and tag management (GTM, GA4).
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and browser developer tools.
• Some SQL or willingness to work with BigQuery.
• Care for data quality and attention to detail.
• Clear communication with developers, marketers and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain tags and variables in GTM (web and server-side).
• Specify and QA dataLayer events with developers for new features.
• Run tracking audits across markets and investigate data discrepancies.
• Contribute to tracking monitoring and data quality checks in BigQuery.
• Ensure tracking respects GDPR, cookies, and CMPs.
• Keep tracking plan and docs up to date for teams.
