Job summary

Back Market is seeking a data and measurement intern to implement and maintain website analytics tagging, ensuring privacy-compliant tracking across markets. You will work with GTM (web and server-side), GA4, and BigQuery, while collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Data teams to keep numbers trustworthy.

The internship runs 6 months in Paris (France), starting January 2027, for 35h/week, with a hybrid work arrangement and structured development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic web analytics and tag management experience or strong interest.
• Read, debug and write small scripts in JavaScript; comfortable with HTML and browser tools.
• Some SQL knowledge or willingness to work with BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain tags, triggers and variables in Google Tag Manager (web and server-side).
• Specify and QA dataLayer events with developers and ensure features ship with correct tracking.
• Run tracking audits across markets and fix data discrepancies through to production.
• Contribute to tracking monitoring by building data quality checks in BigQuery.
• Ensure tracking respects user consent and privacy regulations with CMPs.
• Keep tracking plan and docs up to date; answer tracking questions from teams.
