Job summary

UNESCO in Paris is seeking a content and communications specialist to support internal and external messaging across UNESCO's public information platforms. The role covers drafting and editing materials for websites, social media, and press, under the Division for Communications and Public Engagement.

You will translate content, ensure consistency, coordinate with the Press Unit, and contribute to campaigns and events, while training colleagues on CMS tools and digital communication practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in communications or related field.
• Two years of relevant experience; international exposure preferred.
• Experience drafting, editing and translating materials for diverse audiences.
• Experience with web CMS, preferably Drupal.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to streamlining content across UNESCO's channels and media.
• Create and edit content for website, social media, and press.
• Translate material and ensure clear, consistent messaging.
