UNESCO invites applications for an Associate Project Officer role focused on digital citizenship, history education, and inclusive education initiatives. The position supports policy briefs, guidance materials, and resource mobilization, with strong collaboration across Field Offices, especially in the LAC region.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 2+ years in international development or education research, with excellent communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in History, Education, Social or Human Sciences or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in peacebuilding, international development or education research.
• Experience organizing events for diverse audiences (workshops, trainings, conferences).

Responsabilités

• Provide research, analytical and technical support for digital citizenship portfolio development and related materials.
• Assist in publication and dissemination of history education materials and knowledge products; coordinate with Field Offices, especially LAC region.
• Support planning and rollout of hate speech, racism, equality and non-discrimination work with partners and stakeholders.
• Support partnership development and fundraising through background analyses for potential collaborations.
