Job summary

Technip Energies is offering an Internship - Public Affairs Officer (F/M) in Nanterre, Île-de-France. This six-month program starts February 2027 and focuses on monitoring press and legislation, analyzing political orientations, and shaping public affairs materials.

You will help define company positions, draft messages, and organize events with stakeholders in the energy transition space. You will support a team of public affairs professionals, network with MPs, think-tanks, and industry

Qualifications

• Master's in Political Science, International Relations, Business, or European Law.
• Fluent English and French.
• Strong interest in Energy transition topics.
• Knowledge of French/European legislative processes and institutions.
• Previous public affairs internship is a plus.
• Proactive, team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Advocacy skills with ability to influence and persuade.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of press and legislation in areas of interest for Technip Energies.
• Monitor and analyze political orientations.
• Create and update tools for public affairs: stakeholder mapping, event calendars, meeting preparation.
• Contribute to defining Technip Energies' positions.
• Prepare conferences on topics of interest to Technip Energies.
• Organize external events with key stakeholders.
• Support the Public Affairs team in building networks with MPs, think-tanks, associations, and influencers.
• Draft key messages and white papers.
• Draft weekly management reports and minutes of high-level meetings.
