Sorontar is seeking a propulsion engineer to own system-level propulsion decisions for our weapons portfolio. You will determine whether propulsion is developed in-house or bought and collaborate with prototyping, mechanical and aerodynamics teams to deliver reliable solutions.

You will help grow the propulsion team as the company expands, with a focus on reducing risk while maintaining ambitious performance. Fluent in French and English, you will work on-site in France.

Qualifications

• Experienced propulsion engineer with a holistic view of propulsion systems.
• Strong skills in parametric design and risk-informed decision making.
• Proficient in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Define propulsion for each weapon, deciding whether to develop in-house or purchase from external suppliers.
• Develop reliable propulsion solutions with the prototyping, mechanical and aerodynamics teams.
• As the company grows, build the propulsion team.
