Ascendance in Toulouse is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design and simulation of the STERNA propulsion digital twin. You will gather information with the Sterna team to model electrical, thermal and mechanical constraints and drive performance assessments of propulsion subsystems.

You will coordinate cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment, with 5+ years in aerospace and fluent French/English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in aerospace with 3+ years in systems engineering.
• Experience with DAL A, B and C constraints.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, implementation and testing of the digital twin of the propulsion system.
• Collaborate on data acquisition, model refinement and extrapolation of results.
• Support subsystem managers with ad-hoc models for design decisions.
• Model and predict performance of electrical machines, including transient behavior.
• Participate in system integration and flight test campaigns.
