The Exploration Company in Bordeaux is seeking a Propulsion CFD Engineer to lead CFD analyses of propulsion components, thruster plumes, and vehicle integration. You will model valves, injectors, and feed lines to predict performance, validate against tests, and collaborate with propulsion, structures, and thermal teams to ensure design robustness.

We value hands-on CFD experience with aerospace flows, scripting for automation, and strong communication across multidisciplinary groups.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in aerospace or related field with 3+ years CFD experience relevant to propulsion.
• Proficiency with propulsion CFD tools and gas dynamics concepts.
• Experience modeling compressible and multiphase flows is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform CFD analyses of propulsion components to characterize flow and loads.
• Model thruster plumes from near-field to far-field regimes and assess performance.
• Collaborate with propulsion, structural, and thermal teams to translate results into design inputs.
• Validate CFD models against test data to build confidence and improve workflows.
