Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, make-ready procedures, inventory, and documentation to support high-quality service.

You’ll perform grounds and common-area upkeep, fix rather than replace when possible, and participate in safety trainings and inspections. On-site housing discount and extensive health benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
• All required State and Local certifications
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on property if applicable

Responsabilités

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service, and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects, following policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Completes the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and new move‑ins: pre‑move‑out inspection, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors and contractors, obtaining supplies, completing maintenance tasks, and inspections.
• Follows procedures for accessing materials, tools, and equipment, tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly for service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost‑cutting and expense‑control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts, avoiding wasteful use of materials, and practicing correct use of tools and equipment.
• Complies with safety and risk‑management policies, attend risk meetings, complete OSHA and other required trainings, and report accidents promptly.
• Periodically inspects work performed by contractors or vendors to verify quality standards, scope, and specifications.
• Assists in conducting routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety concerns, maintain property repairs, and communicate physical needs to management.
