Jobtailor is seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead design and construction supervision for water-sector projects in urban hydraulics. You will manage technical teams and coordinate with contractors to deliver drinking water and wastewater infrastructure.

The role requires a degree in civil engineering and 5+ years in urban hydraulics, with hands-on AutoCAD and Excel skills. You will oversee diagnostics, tender analysis, and project handover under the Branch Director.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Deliver engineering design and construction supervision assignments for water-sector structures and infrastructure.
• Conduct civil engineering diagnostics to assess defects and deterioration in water-sector structures.
• Prepare design studies for drinking water and wastewater structures and infrastructure: DIAG, EP, AVP, PRO.
• Prepare and monitor related and supplementary studies.
• Manage consultation procedures and bid analysis: ACT.
• Monitor construction works: VISA, DET, OPC and AOR.
• Contribute to technical studies in urban hydraulics.
• Monitor and manage construction execution.
• Supervise and manage construction works.
• Oversee project handover and close-out.
• Participate in commercial meetings and lead project meetings.
• Contribute to tender responses and pre-sales activities.
• Manage the engineering design and construction supervision team.
• Monitor projects in terms of contractual and financial commitments.
• Manage relationships with contractors.
• Work under the direction of the Branch Director.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree, specializing in civil engineering


• At least 5 years of experience in the urban hydraulics sector, in an engineering design and construction supervision role


• Demonstrated expertise in concrete and masonry defects and deterioration


• Knowledge of soil mechanics


• Knowledge of strength of materials


• Expertise in civil engineering


• Proficiency with office software, particularly Excel


• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
